The processes, surfaces and materials that I use are essential to my art. Experimentation with a variety of textures and and layering of color, to create luminous effects, are an important part of that process.  To me the act of painting parallels the shifting of nature in its beauty and ambiguity. Hopefully, my artwork will reflect this inspiration from nature and evoke a similar appreciation in the viewer.
